120 × 77 cm | Acrylic on canvas
In Candle, a warm source of light falls across the body, emerging from an otherwise dark and intimate space. The figure leans into a relaxed, open pose, her curves catching the glow against a near-black background.
Deep shadows and warm skin tones create a feeling that is both sensual and comforting. The more controlled brushwork gives definition to the figure while retaining the raw, painterly quality of the work. Candle explores warmth, intimacy and the quiet confidence of the female form.
