Artist Bio

Mackenzie was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and grew up between the countryside and Waiheke Island. Her painting practice explores confidence in the body and a deep sense of self-worth. Working with acrylic paints, she uses warm tones, heavy shadowing, and soft edges—often centring the female form—to create work that feels intimate and comforting. Her paintings are an invitation to slow down and feel at ease.
